Who can you help?
I help freelancers, small businesses and charities who need a lovely modern, professional and mobile friendly website that doesn't cost the earth. Quite often I work with people who have had a bad experience with patronising or unreliable web designers in previous roles, and I'm determined to show that creating a website doesn't need to be a hassle!
How can you help?
I create Squarespace websites for clients, provide support and training on how to use Squarespace, and run regular workshops where you can learn how to make your own website. Due to popular demand, I have also developed a six week programme for anybody who has an existing business (for example, copywriting, graphic design or marketing) but wants to offer Squarespace website creation as an additional service and income stream.
What makes you unique?
Across all my services, my emphasis is on providing a jargon-free and friendly approach and helping you to feel happy and confident about using your website, even if you aren't techy.I'm a freelancer myself and I understand the challenges of juggling a range of commitments. I get that you just want it done, without any stress.I've been using Squarespace to make websites since 2013, when nobody had heard of it, so I'm really familiar with the platform. I'm a Squarespace Authorised Trainer, and love nothing more than sharing my tips and tricks with others!
Tell us why you decided to exhibit at the Mums Enterprise Roadshow in 2018
"For me, part of the joy of being freelance is choosing the people that I want to work with, and I realised recently that all my favourite clients were parents setting up their own businesses. So when I saw the Mums Enterprise Roadshow was coming to Manchester, I jumped at the chance to exhibit!"
